The End of the Season

Honestly I do like baseball....I like it better if I am actually at the game. I am one of those people who gets wound up in what is happening at the park .....the people, the excitement, the energy.

I don't get quite the same feeling watching on television but if I have some free time I will watch a game with my husband. M husband on the other hand is a baseball fanatic. He would vehemently disagree with me describing him this way ..but believe me it's true.

Well I am happy to report that baseball season is finally over. Just a few minutes ago the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series...though how it is a World Series if it is only U.S. teams is beyond me.....that is a discussion for another day.

In the end the winning team was not our team. Why? because they are National league and the team we usually root for is in the American league...(the Yankees).

All in all to me it is a win-win....a team who has not had the title in many years won..(I am all for spreading the wealth)....baseball season is over and I perhaps have a little more of my husband's attention.
