The People I Get to Meet

As a coach I have the chance to meet some wonderful and interesting people. They teach me so many things and I also learn about places I have not yet had the opportunity to visit.

One of the nicest people I have worked with as a coach is an incredible woman in Sydney, Australia. I have had the chance to work with her and on top of it remain friends after our formal coaching had finished up.

We both hit it off I believe because we shoot from the hip and both have a pretty good sense of humor... these are helpful qualities in coaching and in life. And as a coaching client she was fearless....ready to tackle any issue head on and open to new things. When a client comes to coaching with those qualities in place the energy is phenomenal and progress is usually fast and steady.

During coaching with both began a friendship and I learned a lot about life in Australia She learned a little more about life in the USA...Sally has had an opportunity to live here before...I however have not had a chance to even visit Australia as yet.

It is on my things to do before I die.

So anyway here we both are... able to keep up a great friendship thanks to the internet and skype.....sure we could always have e-mailed but it is so much fun to hear another friend's voice.

When I made the decision to pursue life coaching I don't think I fully recognized all the additional benefits I would receive. Life today offers the opportunity for coaching to be a world wide endeavor as our world begins to effectively shrink via the internet.
For me that is just one more reason this is the best 'job" ever.
