Valentine's Day

Wow I must be changing because this Valentine's Day I did not want a thing...not a card.....not chocolate...not a gift.....nothing. I don't know if is because I am getting older or I don't require anything to prove my husband's love. What a wonderful feeling that is. I know it and it is not receiving confirmation on a set day of the year that makes it so. It is quite a few years of working on a relationship to get to this point and mow that we have made it the fun can begin.

For all of you who happen to love Valentine's Day and look forward to the gifts you get...I am so happy for you. In my personal life I find a freedom of not being tied to one more holiday. We can actually do nice things or special things for each other throughout the year when the mood strikes and not when Hallmark tells us to.
